PowerPoint Presentation Part I
For this assignment I had to create a PowerPoint on a subject matter I may teach someday. I plan on teaching American history at the secondary level, so I made my PowerPoint on the beginning years of the Revolutionary War from the cause of it through the signing of the Declaration of Independence. I then uploaded this PowerPoint to SlideShare and embedded it here.
PowerPoint Presentation Part II
For the second part of the PowerPoint Presentation assignment, I had to take my PowerPoint from Part I and use ProfCast to create a narration over it as if I were teaching a class. We then had to post it on YouTube and embed it here.
Podcast
For this assignment I had to create a podcast using a recording program called Audacity. I had to find music to implement in the beginning and end like a real podcast as well. The podcast focuses on what I think Governor Snyder should accomplish in his first year in office. After creating the podcast I used a program called LAME used with Audacity to export the recording as an mp3 and upload it here.
Digital Story
For this assignment I had to create a digital story using iMovie on Mac. I had to choose pictures that either I took or someone else did and music to play through it as well as narrate the story. All of the pictures taken were by myself and I chose classical music to set the tone of my story. After creating the video and narrating it, I had to save it as a .mov, upload it to YouTube, and embed it here.

For this assignment I had to post a picture here that I took on a digital camera. It had to be on my computer and not from an online photo album. I then had to go to the Creative Commons section of flickr.com and choose a picture under one of the six Creative Commons licenses and embed it here. I had to create a task that my students could complete using the picture from flickr.com that I chose and describe it here beneath the picture.
